What is SongBook?

SongBook is a companion app for musicians — write songs with chords over lyrics, build setlists, tune your instrument, keep time with a metronome, and record practice takes. It works on phone and tablet, on iOS and Android.

How does the free trial work?

When you create an account, you start a 14-day free trial with full Pro access. When the trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan (your songs and data stay intact). You can subscribe at any time to keep Pro features.

How do I subscribe, and how am I billed?

Subscriptions are purchased through your app store using Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). Open the app, go to Account → Compare Plans (or tap any Pro feature) to see plans and pricing. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

How do I restore a purchase?

On a new device or after reinstalling, open Account and use Restore Purchases. Your subscription is tied to your app store account.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store (iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions) account settings.

How do I delete my account?

Open Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your songs, recordings, and account data. This cannot be undone.

I lost my songs / I'm not seeing my data

Make sure you're signed in to the same account. SongBook syncs your library to the cloud when you're signed in. If something still looks wrong, email us and we'll help.
