MyBizPRO Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how VinTEK Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the MyBizPRO mobile application ("MyBizPRO" or the "App").

MyBizPRO is a business management tool for field service professionals. It is designed to store and manage data about you (the service business owner or operator) and the clients you serve. As a user, you are responsible for ensuring your collection and use of client information complies with your local laws and any agreements you have with your clients.

1. Information We Collect

Your Account Information

When you sign in to MyBizPRO, we collect:

  • Email address and authentication credentials (managed by Supabase Auth)
  • Display name and business profile details you enter

Business Data You Enter

MyBizPRO stores the operational data you create:

  • Business profile: name, address, contact info, tax settings, service area
  • Client records: names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses, notes
  • Jobs & estimates: descriptions, line items, pricing, status, dates
  • Invoices and payment records
  • Schedule, recurring jobs, and route data
  • Photos attached to jobs (before/after, receipts, etc.)
  • Mileage logs and time tracking entries
  • Inventory and product/service catalogs

Client Information You Store

You control what client information you enter into MyBizPRO. We process and store this information on your behalf as a data processor. You remain the data controller for your clients' information under GDPR and similar regulations. It is your responsibility to:

  • Inform your clients that you store their information in a business management app
  • Obtain any consent required by your local laws
  • Honor client requests to access, correct, or delete their information

Location Data

MyBizPRO may request access to your device location for:

  • Mileage tracking — logging distances between job sites (optional)
  • Route planning — generating optimal daily routes between scheduled jobs (optional)
  • Job site check-in/check-out — timestamping when you arrive at and leave a client location (optional)

You can deny location access; mileage and route features will simply be disabled. Location history is stored in your Supabase database for reporting and is deleted when you delete the associated mileage log or job.

Camera & Photos

MyBizPRO can access your camera or photo library to attach photos to jobs (e.g. before/after shots, receipts, equipment damage). Photos are uploaded to Supabase Storage and are accessible only to your account.

Microphone

MyBizPRO does not access your microphone.

Contacts

MyBizPRO does not access your device contacts automatically. If you manually enter client contact information, that data is stored in your business database.

Usage & Crash Data

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (app opens, feature usage, crash reports) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you or your clients personally.

Payment Information

Subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing and Apple App Store In-App Purchase. Invoice payments you collect from your clients are processed by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or have access to credit card numbers or payment account details — all payment data is handled by Stripe and the respective app stores.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information to:

  • Provide MyBizPRO's business management features
  • Sync your data across your devices
  • Generate invoices, estimates, and reports based on the data you enter
  • Process payments via Stripe on your behalf
  • Track mileage, time, and route information for your business records
  • Improve and debug the app via anonymized usage and crash reports
  • Respond to support requests you send us

3. Third-Party Services

MyBizPRO integrates with the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

  • Supabase — Authentication, database, storage. Privacy
  • Stripe — Invoice payment processing. Stripe handles all card data directly. Privacy
  • Google Play Billing — Android in-app purchases. Privacy
  • Apple App Store — iOS in-app purchases. Privacy

4. Data Storage & Security

Your MyBizPRO data is stored on Supabase (AWS) servers in the United States using encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). We use:

  • Row-level security policies in PostgreSQL — no other MyBizPRO user can read or write your business data
  • Authentication-based access controls on all API requests
  • Encrypted data transmission between your device and our servers
  • Encrypted storage for photo attachments

MyBizPRO also caches some data locally using SQLDelight for offline access. Local data is protected by your device's OS-level encryption on supported devices.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your data at any time:

  • Delete individual clients, jobs, invoices, estimates, or photos within the app
  • Delete your entire account and all associated data by contacting us at vintek615@gmail.com

Upon account deletion, all your business data is permanently removed from our cloud services within 30 days. Invoice records may be retained longer if required by tax law or for Stripe compliance.

Your clients' right to deletion: If one of your clients asks to be removed from your records under GDPR, CCPA, or similar law, you can delete their record directly in the app. We do not provide a mechanism for end clients to contact us directly — they must go through you.

6. Children's Privacy

MyBizPRO is a business tool intended for adult service professionals. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Export your data in a portable format (CSV or JSON exports are planned)
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

8. What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell your personal information or your client data to third parties — ever
  • We do not serve advertisements in MyBizPRO
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites
  • We do not share your business data with data brokers
  • We do not access or use your client data for any purpose other than providing the service to you
  • We do not contact your clients directly

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be announced in the app. Continued use of MyBizPRO after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
